Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Associate Videographer and Editor who will assist the Lead Videographer/Editor on large-scale institutional projects, while taking ownership of departmental videos, social media snippets, and routine event coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in multi-camera setups, lighting arrangements, and audio monitoring for institutional films and studio recordings.
• Perform "Associate Editor" duties: syncing audio, organizing project bins, creating proxy files, and preparing "rough cuts" for the Lead Editor to refine.
• Maintain the equipment locker, ensuring cameras and lights are prepped, charged, and ready for shoots.
• Independently film and edit short-form content, including interviews, testimonials, and campus event highlights.
• Develop quick-turnaround content for social media (Reels/Shorts) following established brand templates.
• Maintain a systematic digital archive of all raw footage and project files.
• Ensure consistent use of institutional brand assets (intros, outros, lower thirds, and logos).
Desired Candidate Profile:
• 0–1+ years of relevant experience; freshers can also apply
• Certification or coursework in multimedia, visual communication, or related fields
• Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Mirrorless/DSLR cameras, gimbal operation, and external audio recorders.
• Good grasp of frame rates, shutter speeds, and lighting techniques.
