Job Summary:
We are looking for a Video Presenter who will appear on camera to host interviews and video programmes for our institution. You will interact with a wide range of guests such as company professionals, faculty, alumni, students, entrepreneurs, and public figures. The key quality we look for is the ability to listen well and ask the right questions at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Host interviews and video programmes on the institution’s media channels.
• Read up on guests and topics before each shoot to be well prepared.
• Ask questions based on what the guest is saying rather than sticking to a fixed script.
• Be comfortable speaking with all kinds of guests — from students to senior leaders and dignitaries.
• Work with the production team during shoots and related activities.
• Carry yourself professionally as a representative of the institution.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Any undergraduate degree is welcome. A background in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, English, or Performing Arts is preferred.
• Freshers can apply. Experience in hosting, anchoring, theatre, debates, or content creation is a plus.
• Good spoken communication (English & Tamil) and a confident on-camera presence.
• Ability to listen carefully and ask follow-up questions naturally.
• Comfortable with different kinds of people and interview situations.
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

PSG Branding & Corporate Communication is the communications department of PSG & Sons’ Charities, a trust dedicated to education, healthcare, and community development since 1926. The department leads strategic communications, brand governance, and media outreach across PSG institutions, reaching audiences through print, digital, and outdoor media. It also produces content across formats including video, and supports training and placement initiatives across select PSG institutions.
