Responsibilities
1. Proactively conduct recruiter outreach through calls, emails, digital platforms, and other relevant channels to identify, engage, and onboard potential recruiters and create new placement and internship opportunities.
2. Engage with industry representatives to understand hiring requirements and talent expectations, and identify suitable placement opportunities.
3. Coordinate the end-to-end placement process, including recruiter requirements, student nominations, interview coordination, selection, offer, and joining follow-up.
4. Plan, coordinate, and execute on-campus and off-campus placement drives, pre-placement talks, guest lectures, and industry engagement programmes.
5. Coordinate short-term and long-term internship opportunities and monitor student internship progress and completion.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential records of students, recruiters, placements, internships, recruitment drives, offers, and joining status.
7. Act as the primary coordination point between students, recruiters, faculty, alumni, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication and smooth execution.
8. Maintain and regularly update the placement portal, databases, MIS, dashboards, and other placement-related records with accurate and real-time information.
9. Prepare periodic analytical reports and management updates on placement performance, recruiter engagement, internships, recruitment activities, and key outcomes.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters and alumni, gather stakeholder feedback, identify process improvements, and undertake other responsibilities entrusted by the reporting authority from time to time.
Eligibility
• MBA / Postgraduate Degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Business Development, Academic Administration or related fields.
• Experience in corporate outreach, campus recruitment, employer engagement or business development will be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across South India for corporate outreach and meetings.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to undertake frequent business travel will be an advantage.
